Knol a Google Public Beta service for geeks to get share what they know and get known from here that contains a wide range of user articles to share among all.

Since introduced earlier, By January 16, 2009, Google announced that Knol had grown to 100,000 articles, and users from 197 countries and territories visit Knol on an average day and check for more feautured news,Top viewed articles,most discusses and so on...

The term Knol, which Google defines as a "unit of knowledge" refers to both the project and an article in the project as it seems to gets compete with Wikipedia

Just you need a Google account and you're ready to create new knol,comment and edit....and also share with other experts and get know about interested things..
